Private mail connector is a private service run by one person for their own use. Only its owner can sign in.
With the owner's approval, it accesses the Gmail mailboxes the owner has connected: messages, drafts and labels. It uses Google sign-in to confirm that the person connecting is the owner, and for that it receives the owner's email address.
Only to carry out what the owner asks through their AI assistant: searching and reading mail, saving drafts, sending mail, and changing labels. It is not used for advertising, analytics or any other purpose.
The service does not store email content. It stores, in encrypted form, the approvals that let it reach the connected mailboxes and the owner's sign-in session. Its log records which action was taken on which mailbox, never the content of any message.
Email content is passed to the owner's AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) when the owner asks for it, and to nobody else. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.
The owner can remove a mailbox at any time on the server and can withdraw the approval at myaccount.google.com/connections.
